If you can do Gomata service yourself or with your family, its benefits increase manifold.

However, if you are unable to provide Gomata service due to lack of time or living in cities, there are still many ways to participate in Gomata service.

Options for doing Gomata service

1) Adopting Gomata from a Goshala

• We can help financially by adopting Gomata from a Goshala.This allows us to contribute to the nutrition, health, and maintenance of the Gomata, even if we are not available for direct service.

2) Financial and in-kind support to Goshala

• Donating funds for the arrangement of a Goshala helping with fodder, medicines, or other necessary items is a great way to do Gomata service.Even if we help a little, it has a big impact on the care of the Gomata.

Financial Assistance

1) Gomata Adoption Scheme

• Donors can adopt a Gomata on a monthly or annual basis. The monthly cost of a Gomata (Feed, Medication) is ₹2,700 and the annual cost is ₹32,400.

• For this, donors are given a certificate and are informed about the maintenance of that Gomata from time to time.

2) Funds for facilities

• Financial assistance can be provided for the construction of a new Goshala, water system, installation of solar systems, and other infrastructure facilities of the Goshala.

• By helping the Goshala or participating in the daily needs of the Gomata, we can bring happiness, peace, satisfaction, and prosperity to our homes. In this way, indirect service also creates positive energy, which has an impact on the progress of the family and business. If it is not possible to serve the Gomata directly, then adopting Gomata from a Goshala or helping the Goshala in small ways is an effective solution.

• Rs. 60 is spent on fodder per day for a Gomata.

• Opportunity to provide materials for medicines or medical check-ups required by Gomata.

Pooja and Spiritual Services

Yajnas and Services on Auspicious Domestic Occasions:

• Yajnas and Pujas can be organized in the Goshala on auspicious occasions like birthdays, wedding anniversaries.

• Various types of yajnas are available in the Goshala, and if advance notice is given and the date is booked, the management can provide better service.

• This can include food donation, fodder donation, or special fodder donation to the Gomata.

Special Contribution

• Memorial Donation

• You can donate funds to the Goshala in memory of your parents or loved ones and name a facility in the Goshala after them.

• Daily Food Donation Scheme

• Financial assistance to donate food to all the Gomata on a specific day.

Other contributions to the Goshala

• Share of workers' salaries:

• You can donate a portion of the monthly salary of the workers working on the 21 Gomata.

• Water facilities,Funds for setting up solar pumps or water tanks.

Tax exemption under 80G

• Donations made to the Goshala are eligible for tax exemption under 80G of the Income Tax Act.

• For each donation, a receipt is obtained by sending funds to the official account of the Goshala , through which tax exemption can be obtained.

Note-

Donors should contact the Goshala and select the plan as per their requirement. Pre-registration is required for Vasubaras Yajna and other services during Diwali.
